What's the Temperature Check on China's Relationship With Saudi Arabia?
Gulf countries have been very quick to criticize European misdeeds and mistreatment of Muslims, but yet remain silent on China. This might start to strain some of the Gulf's ties with India. The difference is that here in the UAE, China is number one trading partner for the United States. And I keep saying, look, this great power narrative is always the U.S. versus China. Maybe it will be that so many people are left out of the conversation about what's happening in the Gulf. You know half of the South Asian population is probably from Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
