Test Containers - Two Biggest Challenges
Test containers is eight years old, but we never so far changed the public API of it. And we barely had any breaking changes. It's critical to run everything on random ports. You don't want your test to fail because you're already running another set of tests and especially on CI. But behind that new Kafka container is a lot of R&D that is technology dependent. We need to provide this knowledge as an abstraction for the user.
