Socrates was very good at showing people where they thought they knew something, but then when they were called upon to explain it, would get into these cul-de-sacs or aporia in the Greek. So I think that's something very important from Socrates. This is part of how he got himself killed. It's really helpful, you know, to figure out that you don't really know what you're talking about because then you can go out of that feeling of puzzlement or frustration and start getting yourself onto the right track.
