Wayland Smithey: A Replica of West Kennet Long Barrow
Wayland Smithey was constructed around 3,400 BC. It replicates in so many ways the architecture and structure of West Kennet Long Barrow. No one else is building monuments like this at that time as far as we know. The tomb would have been visible from a trackway or main route through the landscape.
