The Seventh Month of Israel's Festal Calendar

The seventh month was, perhaps unsurprisingly, the primary festal month in israel's religious calendar. The two most prominent feasts, unleavened bread and tabernacles, were both seven days in length. Sevens after the feast of first fruits, there were seven festivals and seven days of rest. In the case of the latter, it was during the seventh month and the feast of tabernacles that solomon's temple had been dedicated.
