Love Is the Most Discriminating of the Loves
Lewis talks about the four classical loves: affection, storgay, an aeros and philia and agape. He suggests that we have custodians ship over these loves in order to learn where they could get off rails. The love is primary and it can be perverted towards self at the expense of another person - a perversion of love.
