Russia's Support for Guyana's 2020 Election
The US is threatening sanctions on Guyana if they do not solve this properly, and these sanctions will likely cripple the nation financially. Georgetown is starting to look elsewhere for more dependable support. Russia feels that the US is potentially threatening them by stationing missiles of those ranges in countries close to Russian as a somewhat because Putin has said he will mirror exactly what the US is doing. And Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname would probably be somethingRussia would consider actually open up to put pressure on the United States.
