The Police Were Not Alone in the Rescue of the Robbers
Hostages kept calling from inside the bank, claiming that the thieves had vanished. It was already 6 p.m. More than five hours since the police had first made contact with the robbers. Officer M believed that it was impossible that the robbers had escaped. After much deliberation, the rescue team finally made a decision. At 7.15 p.m., agents from the Special Forces Unit took positions around the bank.
