Cannabis was legalized for medicinal use in California in the 1990s. From 2018, anyone over the age of 21 could buy it for recreational use. Tucky Blunt is selling weed legally 13 blocks from where he got arrested. He's part of a pioneering Californian policy known as social equity. This policy which began in Oakland is now being copied by states across the US.
