Why Should You Owe Me Anything?

How does sacrifice generate debt? The reason that you owe me a good thing, maybe the money is because I gave you a good. It's almost like there's a mimicking of like in the case where I gave you the money I suffered a loss. And so it's almost like in a situation where I don't have anything to give you I can just incur losses. Those losses do a similar work to if I had given you anything and now you owe me. That's closer to getting at the logic of it but it's just very obscure why should you owe me anything just because I didn't like to do the suffering on myself after all?"
