I'm a Writer, I've Done It Both Ways, Right?

I think there's this notion that you have to like, sacrifice your life in one way or another in order to create art. I've now done it both ways, and my best work comes from a good place, not a bad place. So i'd hate this idea of the starving soul searching artists as an excuse Not to engage their creative spirit.
