The Role of Decision Theory in COVID
Decision theory underlies a lot of what we know about faith and hope. I think if we truly wanted to test like the rationality of something, I would kind of wanna use decision theory to verify that. So one thing that's interesting is I don't think you have to make Pascal's wager about belief. There's a lot of objections that come up when you say, you should just believe in God because it doesn't control our beliefs. It could still be rational to act as if God exists or to commit to God.
