Mother gabriella was a roman catholic, and so when she started discerning, i felt like, i need to go visit some of the roman communities that i was really attracted to. Mother Cecily had taken her to lots of byzantine things, and i started to fall in love with the byzantine church. The monasteries are called "monastery" because they have an emphasis on prayer as well as other activities such as work or exercise.
