Work With Children and Work With Vulnerable People

Convictions are often spent under the rehabilitation of offenders act 19 74. But when you apply for certain positions which involve working with children and vulnerable people, even spent convictions have to be disclosed. So if you had multiple convictions, and as i said earlier, these ladies had ahundred between them, all the convictions have to go in. And it seems particularly unfair that they were qired to disclose spent convictions. Now what might seem even more unfair when you read the judgment, as i've already expressed, is that these convictions came as a result of women themselves being victims of crime or victimized at a young age.
