Lu broke up the team. They maye had gotten to a point where they recognized that their type of comedy was not working any more. The t v series had been in re runs by that point, so, and they also got hit, most import by this gigantic tax bill. So lu wanted to try it out on his own. And he also had said that if somebody comes to us with the right material, the right piece, the right thing, we'll do it well, get back together. Iflu had lived longer, they probably would have gotten back together, i think. Undfortunately, he died in 59. While a castello died, he was 52.
