"I basically flunked seventh grade. I thought my GPO, my GPA was like 1.0 in seventh grade," he says. "And then thankfully my mom saw the chaos, saw me getting in trouble and she got a job." The family moved from Oceanside to Vista; it's about 30 minutes away but not too far. He hopes his story can help other young people with similar situations.
