I think what's really fascinating about the Iron Age is that it's kind of just out of reach. We have some written documents from the classical world that talk about these Iron Age societies, but we have very, very little from these societies themselves. So that's the fascination that they're just out there, really. That tension between the written and the archaeological societies is a really fascinating one that permeates the whole of Iron Age studiesreally.
