The Bit47 Paynim is a way for people to make on-chain payments. It can also be used as an identity, allowing you to keep your coins separate from your real nim. The only downside right now is that it incurs fees and cost a small amount of sat. But the devs are working on removing that hurdle - so once that sort of little hurdle has disappeared, which I believe is just over the horizon.
