Is There a Complexity in Organizational Behavior?
An organization is much more like the weather, he says. It's a probabilistic system as opposed to a deterministic system. And if you are trying to bring complicated mindsets and interventions to a complex system, things you don't expect are going to happen. So I think what we really try to do is bring that mindset, that understanding that we need to interact and experiment with this system in order to change it.
