Is Social Media Trying to Connect With You?

I find social media especially to be sort of antithetical to connection, because we're only seeing the best parts of people. I just see this perfect person whose life is so much better than mine. And it's almost impossible not to constantly compare and compete an social media. i've even gone as far as being like, man, that girl's more authentic than me. An, social media so real. She's so real. Ya, ye. It's the thing. You can't even imagine what i didn't grow up with the self one until i was in high schoolso can't even imagine this next generation.
