How Much Does a Cis Trace Recording Skew Performance?
We actually do collect traces in the background for it. There's an on-device system tracing app where you can start a trace from the quick settings bar. And that's not something that we believe ever shows a user perceptible impact. That said, especially like if you're talking about adding a whole lot of trace points, I encourage you to test this on your own.
