The new version of the studio is actually written 100% in TypeScript. You'll get lots of types where you will soon have automatic documentation available on the website that's pulled straight from the source code. The missing piece here is when you're querying for data using things like rock, you might not have TypeScript coverage out of the box. That's something that we hopefully will be working on in the near future. There are a bunch of really cool tooling from the community now.
