Is There a Layman's Way to Explain Debt?
In the future, when we get greater g b p growth, it's not getting added to our growth because we're having to pay back the growth. This has been true throughout history of any society that is spent above its means. I don't think people understand why. The bond market does not believe that we're getting that long rm growth that we're used to. And and so the best way to communicate it to laymen, i work on that every day.
