How to Mix With a Tape Machine

I don't have the technical know-how or patience to mix completely analog. So I have to do it best of both, you know. You'll just wash stuff on the tape when you feel it needs it. That was that was done to my friend Vince who has a studio called Hive Mind in New York. He dumped them on to an apex 440. Did you feel the difference? Yeah, I did actually. Oh, and that cool. Now it's nice when you just feel like, oh man, this stuff does make a difference. Using it is a really brutal effects unit but it's such a big machine to have in the studio.
