The Rise of Single Family Homes in the US

There's this narrative that the US is becoming a quote unquote renter nation, but it does not seem that the data suggests that. The ratio of homeowners to renters has more or less stayed the same. But if we look at the population of the US over the past 10 years, 15, 20 years, it's grown. So I think the narrative comes again down to the fact we're not building smaller entry level homes and the homes that are going to millennials are ones that often were owned by someone else in that family.
