The Neurons That Make Memories

Surya's brain was very busy. It was getting all kinds of information from her senses. She smelled the mustard, heard the rat and she saw the class go wild when it ran free. Each neuron was sending messages to other neurons. Those neurons were then sending messages on to more neurons until all these neurons created a big web of active brain cells. Later when she tries to remember that day a lot of neurons will fire it up again. This recreates parts of the picture she had in her head. Or as we call it it creates a memory.
