The State's Role in the Right to Equity
In olden days in India, more powerful communities and caste groupings had their own chow trees. The idea is that if you're a young boy of that community who goes into that city, you have a natural place to land up before you find a college or a place of work. So the state does have a role to play in this. Question is what do we really do about it?
