The Transphobic Line of Questioning

This is an exchange between a professor at UC Berkeley and Senator Josh Holly. We played this back during the summer of last year. Professor Bridges said several times you've used a phrase. I want to make sure I understand what you mean by it. So that would be women. Many cis women do not have the capacity for pregnancy. They're also trans men who are capable of pregnancy, as well as non binary people who can get pregnant. This isn't really a women's rights issue. It's a we can recognize that this impacts women while recognizing that it impacts other groups. Those things are not mutually exclusive.
