Fat Domino had 14 pop top 20 hits between 1955 and 1961, 11 of them going top 10. He would go on to have another 7 R&B number ones after this,. His records would consistently chart on the R&B charts for the next seven years. Almost all of his hit singles were written by the Bartholomew and Domino's songwriting team.
