The Last Dollar Project - Is Now Better or Worse Than Later?

The idea is that if there's diminishing returns to the money we're giving away then the last dollar we give away it should be in expectation the least valuable dollar. The long-termist side has been working on a model of allocation over time for the near-termists where like they have a bit better of a sense of what their last dollar is than we do. There are two main forces you could also model like you know maybe giving now helps you learn how to give better and each year has diminishing returns because you can't given an organization a hundred million dollars in one year just because you could have given a ten million dollars over each of ten years stuff like that.
