Do Other Primates Cry?
Crying has been used to describe just the vocalization of various primates. But if we're indeed going to focus in on tears and, quote, tearful sobbing, then humans do seem to be alone. What about neandertalls? Did these intelligent relatives of humans that went extinct about forty thousand years ago, did they shed tears like we do? We don't really have a firm answer on that count yet but ther i think there strong arguments to be made.
