Blueberry had spent enough sleepless nights worrying about me. I was suddenly thankful for my parents' recent divorce. Blueberry couldn't possibly find me here. With that comforting thought, I pulled myself out of bed and dressed. In the kitchen, I stepped into the cupboard and plucked a fresh bag of chips. The banging started. They were loud booms as if parodies of polite knocks. Then, all of a sudden, there was silence. My phone buzzed on the counter. It's him. He texted: "I know you are in there. Let me in"
