Some affirmative action has always got to be better than no affirmative action for the group that it's helping. As I understand it, part of what happens through affirmative action is that students who would have ended up at pretty good schools end up going to very, very good schools. So, how does that affect a large number of schools across the United States? We can make some assumptions on it.
