The Negative Probability Ratio on Bora Bora
"I don't even think I would do this on bora bora. No, I would do that," he says of the fluid wave test. "If you find it, the positive likelihood ratio is 5.3." The negative likelihood ratio 0.5 isn't that great, pretty close to 1. And you go from a pretest probability of 50% to down to about 36%, which probably isn't low enough for anybody to not go on and do something else".
