The Importance of Deep Time
I'm glad you brought up the idea of deep time can you say a bit about this idea of big history that was kind of growing up around the same period. Can you mention in particular this name James Jeans that came up and you have this fantastic example of a postage stamp which really stood out to me. Yeah yeah so that I was so happy when I found that because it's such a good example of a really brilliant science writer doing their job perfectly. It would be very surprising for our kind of archaeologists to now discover some you know ancient pre-historical civilization with vast amounts of knowledge fast and passing what we have now no everything to be done lies ahead.
