Are We Asking Too Much of Pastors?

Nijad: I've been doing a lot of work in Romans lately which I haven't really done previous in my career. Paul talks about the Christian life in such a way that he sees the value and even necessity of suffering. He says we ought to be able to boast in our sufferings because suffering produces perseverance, character and hope. Nijad: What impresses me about our spiritual director is not the heights he's been to but the depths. The whole point of Romans five is they've been tested through suffering.
