The Second Wave Rise of the Left in Latin America

All incumbents have done very poorly during the pandemic. So there has been rising frustration, I think rising dissatisfaction with how the governments are addressing the needs of the people. Of course, the pandemic worsened the situation. We saw severe economic contraction in countries across the region. And that's made it even more hard for incumbent governments to hang on to power.
