The Importance of Uniqueness in Medicine

An understanding of individuality and human traits is probably most important in terms of addressing the scourge of racism. I think these days more and more people are willing to accept the notion that addiction is a disease, that it's not merely a moral failing. And yet, as a society, we're not very compassionate to people who struggle with this. So i would say anything that has led me to be ampathetic and compassionate when interacting with people is that you've got to consider these kinds of sorts of things.
