Swift on the server was dealt a big blow when IBM dropped Ketura and there was an early port of Swift or Android, but then that kind of didn't really go anywhere. We've got Swift on Linux and Windows now, but they don't have any sort of like gooey support. So I think we're still a ways off from scripting and Swift being as mainstream as it is with other tools.
