Covenant Is More Than a Contract

The shedding of blood is an important part of God's process leading up to Christ, the ultimate shed blood. In covenant, you're agreeing basically, what they would do is they take an animal of some sort and they would cut it in half. They'd walk between them making this covenant. So it's way more than a contract. There's more than legal ramifications here. It's an agreement in blood. We are in a new covenant under the blood of Jesus. He died for us.
