The Resolve to Go All the Way Through
"I'm sitting there telling him I'll die for him, and I can't even stay awake for him," Peter tells Jesus. "Three different times, imagine the third time, it happened immediately, scripture said, they got up and they started going", he says. In that moment, all the disciples scatter, Christ is alone with the guards being taken to trial,. He says in the face of suffering, will I not drink this cup, the resolve Jesus had, why, it's because he knew, there was no other way to be made right with God.
