Trump Fact Checking - Is Twitter Making a Big Mistake?
Twitter is making a huge mistake here for a couple of reasons. A number of people in their own universe, people they know, friends of theirs, blue check marks say you really have to put the true facts next to Donald Trump's conspiracy theory about Joe Scarborough killing a woman. No, you don't. Because it's so self-evidently stupid and crazy that we don't have to fact check those things. But that doesn't mean that we should change the law to expose people to the government having more prosecutorial ability to punish people they don't like.
