The Importance of Control in Wrestling

The first two athletes I took to ADCC were Eddie Cummings and Gary Tonum. They came in with the philosophy of control leading to submission. But they both lost to experienced resilience in their second match. And so when I left Brazil, I knew that what I had done with these talented young fellows was good enough for what they were competing in an EBI. The Gordon Ryan who entered 2017 against Kenny and Kenny is having pressure over time built into him.
