The People of Judah Are Into Exile

The people of judah are brought into exile. They're madein servants to the king of babylon and to his sons, until the establishment of the kingdom of persia. This is verse 21. To fulfil the word of the lord by the mouth of jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. And all the days that it lay desolate, it kept sabbath to fulfil 70 years. So what's happening is he's going to exile you away from the land. The land will have to rest because very few people will be living there. You will not be live there. Therefore the land will recover its lost sabbaths, but not forever.
