Beth Williams has faced criticism over her testimony in the Harvey Weinstein case. She says she was shocked when a law professor said to her, how could you? I actually have a different valuation then elizabeth - there's a difference between being a lawyer on the one hand, and being a judge on the other. As a judge, i had to make exactly the valuation you were making, which is to look critically at the evidence in front of me as a lawyer. And so i made choices about who i wanted to use my talents at whosea behest i would use my talents.
