Is There a Niche in Evolution?

There's this non-linearity to Darwinian evolution that's making real waves in biology at the same time. So I find it fascinating that, of course, economics would be parallel as well. This is fundamentally a crisis in evolutionary sciences as well because there's a feedback loop that builds up between the environments and the organisms. And if you talk with a neoclassical economist, every fifth word is equilibrium. If you had an alien land on this planet was asked to describe capitalism, the last word they used is equilibrium. That's what we should be doing.
