We love getting feedback from our patrons. And so these come from our most recent patrons question show. The first feedback comes from clemens who writes on a facebook. He just equated authority with the modern state, even though the church claims authority without having a military or police to enforce it. So let's take a look once again at the catechism. In paragraph 18 97, it says, human society can be neither well ordered nor prosperous unless it has some people in ted with legitimate authority to preserve its institutions and devote themselves as far as necessary to work and care for the good of all.
