The heat index is what the temperature feels like to a human body when relative humidity is combined with the air temperature. The higher the humidity, the lower the temperature needs to be in order for it to be dangerous. When the temperature gets to 103 degrees Fahrenheit or 39 degrees Celsius, heat exhaustion is likely to happen in healthy people with prolonged exposure.
