The real principle here is really found in verses 31, 32. Give no offence to jews or to greeks or to the church of god. Just as i try to please everyone and everything i do. If it's going to be a thin don't let a bunch of other things that are much lesser things, unwit, unwittingly, offend people if you don't have to.
