The Death of Sorwana

Sorwana wrote her last published work during this time. That was a set of carols to St. Catherine of Alexandria. In 1693 she sold off her library and her collections of scientific and musical instruments, with the proceeds going to help the poor. On March 5th 1694 she wrote a repentance signed in her blood. This was not an unusual amount of self-judgment in these sorts of religious writings at the time.
